Adaptive Power

Enables the radio to use a mid-power operation level if the signal strength report from the dispatch station indicates a strong received signal. The radio always transmits initially with full power. Once the radio de-keys it looks for a data message from the station. If the station reports that the last reception was strong, the radio automatically switches to a mid-power setting. This feature applies while operating in ASTRO Signaling mode and when on the current Conventional Personality.
